I arrived for my already schedule appointment and after waiting for ~ 10-15 minutes I was told they could not see me due to back logs. What is the point of having a system calendar if not able to honor it. Very disappointed. I drove ~ 30 minutes one way that is 1 hr of driving for nothing. I was told to came in early on Monday as a walk in. Lack of consideration on the customer. Never again

The Service Manager Ron was very kind and professional. I really like there inspection system where they post a video of inspecting my Hyundai Tucson, giving me the option on fixing my vehicle, by text instead of telling me face to face where other customers can hear my conversation.
They didn’t force us to buy a car - some sales people do…. We had to wait at the end a bit too long for the paperwork to get done/ not the sales person s fault . ( the manager was with someone else ).
Service person at check in was great. Took me in right away with no delay even though I was quite early. No issues with the work performed however, dealer records need to be kept updated as whoever performed the work on my vehicle listed that my transmission was due for service when it actually wasn’t. They also noted I needed spark plugs replaced which I had done back in February this year. Take your business elsewhere. The folks at Group 1 Hyundai College Park always try to upsell you every time you take your car in. They told us we needed new brake pads and rotors, but when my father-in-law took a look at them, he said they were “pristine”. If your “check engine” light is on, it costs $250 just for them to figure out what is wrong. That money does not go toward the parts and labor to fix it. We’ve been coming to this dealership since ~2000 (three {3} vehicles). Overall, the service & Reps are pretty decent although the last time the Tech inflated our tires to ~50 each & didn’t deflate them during this visit although he/she performed an alignment.
I had extensive work that needed to be done. I reviewed the proposed work, and I received the level of detail that I expected.
I brought my car in for servicing yesterday. The wait was pretty long but Mr. Robert was very helpful, attentive, and professional throughout the entire process. I am writing this review to protect other customers from what I experienced at Hyundai College Park Service Center. What happened to me was not a simple case of poor customer service — it was dangerous, dishonest, and deeply unprofessional from the service floor all the way up to general manager Joseph.
My transmission failed on the highway in 2025 with no warning and was repaired under warranty at this location. Had a great experience with the service team for my appointment this Saturday. I was in and out in a timely fashion. My service Rep Rob was friendly and knowledgeable. My mechanic Mark was fast and the video explaining what needed to be done was awesome. I haven't had a pleasant/fast car mechanic/shop experience since I moved here, even in the past at this location. Not sure if its new management or just picked a slow day but this visit gave me a glimmer of hope.
